Who provides the service

Insulated Baths is a trading name of ONE INSULATION LTD, company number 12564346, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office and workshop are at Bold House, 29 Bold Street, Sheffield, S9 2LR.

Requests are not confirmed bookings

Submitting the website form sends us a request. It does not reserve a workshop time, authorise work, or require payment. We will review the bath and send the proposed service, total price, timing and any carriage arrangements for you to consider. We will not start work until those details are agreed and your booking is confirmed.

Bath suitability

Baths must be uninstalled, clean, dry and undamaged. New baths are preferred. We may ask for more details about a used bath, specialist finish, unusual shape or integrated frame before accepting it. We may decline a bath that cannot be insulated safely or finished properly.

We apply insulation to the outside of the bath shell. You should check with the bath manufacturer whether this could affect its warranty before approving the work. We do not promise a particular heat-retention time, energy saving or acoustic result for an individual bath.

Workshop appointments

The workshop is open for confirmed bath appointments Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:00. A typical bath takes around one hour, but this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion time. Please do not bring a bath before we confirm your appointment.

UK send-in and return

Please do not dispatch a bath until we have accepted it for assessment and given you packing and delivery instructions. We check its condition when it arrives and contact you before work if we find damage or a suitability issue.

The quote will explain who arranges each journey, the carriage cost, expected timing and what to do if a bath is lost or damaged in transit. These arrangements need to be agreed before you send the bath. We will not use a blanket disclaimer to remove responsibility where the law makes us responsible.

Price and payment

Bath insulation costs £149 for a standard bath up to 1800mm, or £179 for a larger bath over 1800mm. These are total customer prices, including VAT where applicable. Send-in carriage and any specialist work are additional only where agreed with you in advance. Your written quote will state the full amount before you accept it. The website does not currently take payment.

Cancellation and your rights

You can withdraw an unconfirmed request without charge. If you are a consumer and a service contract is agreed entirely at a distance, you will normally have 14 days from the date of that agreement to cancel. If you expressly ask us to start during that period and then cancel, you may need to pay a proportionate amount for work already carried out. If the service is fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, your cancellation right may end. We will give you the applicable cancellation information and a cancellation form in a format you can save with the confirmed offer, and ask for any required express request before starting early.

To tell us you wish to cancel, email bookings@insulatedbaths.co.uk with your name, booking reference and a clear statement that you are cancelling. You may use the model cancellation form we provide with your offer, but you do not have to use it.

If something goes wrong, contact us using the details above so we can investigate and put it right. Nothing on this page removes your statutory rights, including the right to have a service carried out with reasonable care and skill. Trade customers may receive separate terms with their quote.
